- 2 stick butter
- 1 1/4 csugar
- 1 1/2 cself-rising flour
- 1 tspvanilla
- 3/4 cmilk

- 1 csugar
- 6 Tbspcocoa powder
- 2 cboiling water
How to Make Chocolate Cobbler
- Two sticks of butter melting in the oven.
- Preheat oven to 350. In a 9x13 glass baking dish, melt the two sticks of butter in the oven for 5 minutes.
- Sugar, flour, vanilla, and milk mixed together.
- Meanwhile in a bowl, mix together the 1 1/4 cups of sugar, flour, vanilla, and milk.
- Batter poured over the butter.
- Once the butter is melted, pour the batter over the butter, but do not stir.
- Cocoa and sugar mixed together.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the cocoa and remaining sugar.
- Cocoa mixture sprinkled into the baking dish.
- Sprinkle cocoa/sugar mixture on top of batter. Do not stir.
- Pouring hot water into the baking dish.
- Pour the 2 cups of boiling water on top of that (don't stir).
- Chocolate Cobbler baking in the oven.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes. I bake mine until I have a nice golden brown crust.
- Warm chocolate cobbler with melting vanilla ice cream.
- Serve warm. Great with ice cream.
